Chapter 11

Geass . Its has been into existence since a century ago. It has been ruled by great Kings . For the one who bear the crown of King , being define as the Great King was everything to them . The definition of Great King wasn’t define by their compassion toward their people . No. The definition of Great Kings in history of Geass is the King that manage to bring out the wealth and develop Geass into the eyes of the world . A kingdom feared by many . A kingdom whose wealth couldn’t compare to none. A King who would do anything to make Geass the strongest Kingdom ever existed even if it means to kill its own people. That was the rule that have govern the monarchy for centuries And the previous king , King Charles , Leouch’s father , was no exception .

“ You … how dare you butt into my business ! “ Tamaki yelled angrily at Lelouch

Without a second thought Lelouch use his sword and point it directly at Tamaki’s throat.

“ I do not mean to interrupt but trying to take a life of an innocent child is against my belief” said Lelouch as he glared to Tamaki , eyes cold as ice .

“ Tamaki! “ one Tamaki henchmen was about to charge towards Lelouch when Lelouch statement cut his action off

“ Make one wrong move and his head will be off . I believe he is your leader.” Said Lelouch

All the henchmen sweatdropped .

“ heh .. my men isn’t that weak to be grieving over my dead” said Tamaki

“ The moment you have such thought , that’s the moment victory is definite” said Lelouch

“ what do you know ? My men isn’t that weak !” Tamaki gritted his teeth

“ Indeed they aren’t weak. But a body can only function with a head . You may lose an arm , a leg , you can still live somehow but once it lose it head , the game is over” said Lelouch .

“ hmphm .. this why I hate you fella . Does that means its okay to just throw away an arm or a leg just to achieve a goal ? Is that what you called a true leadership? You ‘re just the same as those bastard monarchy ! Only thinking about themselves without knowing how us , the lower classs feels ! “ said Tamaki anguishly

“ You do know that insulting the monarchy system is a grieve act under the law “ say Lelouch

 “ what do you know kid ? What do you know about our suffering ? What do you understand ? Insulting isn’t worth the pain they caused us . They should be thrown down! ” said Tamaki

Jeremiah , who watching from the side found this scene rather amusing. He was angered by Tamaki statement but curiousity overwhelm his anger . He wanted to know what would the young king do under such insult.

Probabbly kill him . That’s how the Royal family had been. It runs in his blood  - thought Jeremiah

Lelouch was angered by his statement but C.C’s voice rang inside him

Control your temper .

Patience boy . Rome wasn’t build in a day .

Taking a deep breath, He calmly ask. “ what have the monarchy done to you that it caused you to 

have such grieve?”

Jeremiah widened his eyes . Never before in his memory of serving the late King Charles , have he ever concern about a person let alone a person who was considered as the terrorist . Indeed the young King is interesting.

“ Then allow me to reveal the truth about the Kingdom’s monarchy system that all of you cherish so much !” Tamaki roared .

“ I was from the East Village . Infact all of us were from there” said Tamaki “ It was a peacefull village and our main souce of economics were the jewel we dug up from the mines . Our village was considered as the most valuable asset for the Kingdom. Giving the Kingdom the necessary wealth to build it up. We couldn’t be more happier . Then .. something bad happened .. “

It was exactly 15 years ago.

It was so sudden. That evening someone came back from the mine and collapse to the ground. The villagers thought that he might be too exhausted . How wrong they were .

A few hours later , rashes appear on the man’s skin the following day , he develop a respiratory failure and died . It wasn’t long after that , more of the of the villagers contracted the disease . It was an outbreak .

They were hoping for help. A cure . Afterall , they are all the asset of the country right ? The King wouldn’t abandon them after what they have done

They were wrong.

When the outbreak was known to King Charles , He decided , to prevent the disease from spreading , all occupants of the East Village must be annihilated .

A Death Sentence .

Man , Woman , even children and babies were killed brutally by the royal soldiers . Cries and begging weren’t enough to escape from them. The village were burn down to ashes . Hopes were crushed and the once used to be a peaceful and beautiful village , was left with only ashes . Vanish without a trace

“All for the sake of the benefit of the Kingdom . It doesn’t matter if you were once considered as the jewel of the Kingdom , once you pose a threat to lead the country to its downfall , it will be over ! “ said Tamaki in anguish .

Lelouch notice that all his other henchmen wore the same expression as well.

“ To all the people of East Village , you are no longer our people. You are considered as a threat , therefore , to serve the Kingdom and the wellness of the people , you must be annihilated “ muttered Tamaki. Tears form in his eyes .

“ That was the order . That was the order that cause us to watch our parents to be killed right infront of our eyes . Our siblings to be cut apart . The people we knew and grown up with lay lifelessly on the ground with blood . Despite all that , some of us manage to escape . Do you understand our suffering ? Do you understand our grieve ? “ said Tamaki

“ The monarchy only find you as a tool . Once you’re useless then you’re dead . It has been like for centuries . We were to blind to see it” said Tamaki

“ even so .. does it make sense to group all the monarchy under the same perception?” said Lelouch

“ King Lelouch … even if he’s young and I’ve heard he was different from the others .. but it doesn’t change the fact that he has their blood running his veins ! more over ..he was that person’s son .. it would make sense if the son would act like his father !” Tamaki trembled

“ We can talk to him” said Lelouch

“ Wha- ? are you crazy ?! What good does it make if he listen to us ? He would killed us ! “

“ There comes a time when one must take a position that neither is safe nor beneficial or neither it is 

popular . But he must take it because conscious tells him its right” said Lelouch

At those words , Jeremiah was taken aback. His memory overcome him

“ Is it a must for us to annihilated the East Village ? Can’t we find another way , your majesty? “ 

asked Jeremiah

“ Even if we could , our people who lived nearby the village will take the matter in their own hands and killed them” said King Charles

“ Even so … “ Jeremiah grimanced

“ If they want to hate the monarchy system , let it be . But this chain of hatred will end when my successor takes his place” said King Charles as he watch his 5 years old son play at the Royal garden through the window of his Royal office .

“ The Prince ?”

“ He’s too kind for his own good . He’s not like the previous King. He’s different” said King Charles“ if the annihilation didn’t take place , then in the future, when the time comes , Lelouch will have to make the same decision . Im afraid he wont be able to handle it . Such gruesome fate. That’s why , let me be the one who will do it for him  “ He added

“ Your majesty … is this the right decision though ?” said Jeremiah

“ Jeremiah , There comes a time when one must take a position that neither is safe nor beneficial or neither it is popular . But he must take it because conscious tells him its right . Remember that “ said King Charles

“ Indeed , you’re right your majesty .. he is too kind for his own good” muttered Jeremiah before making his move towards Tamaki and tied him. Upon his action , Sayako and Anya did the same towards the other henchmen and before long , all of them were tied up and the villagers are free.

 Peace was brought back to the village .

“ What should we do with these people ?” asked Anya as she pointed towards Tamaki and his henchmen

 “ We will bring them back to the soldier base camp. ” said Lelouch which causes Anya to nod

Lelouch was pulled into attention when Jeremiah stands right infront of him

“ Sir Jeremiah .. I deeply apologized for disobeying you “ said Lelouch

“ No. I found it rather amusing” said Jeremiah

“ Amusing ?” Lelouch raised an eyebrow

“ You are worth it . “ said Jeremiah which causes Lelouch to confuse even more

“ Lelouch Lamperouge ..no.. your highness King Lelouch Lamperouge, I ,Jeremiah Gottwald , one used to serve under his late Highness King Charles as his right hand man and his royal knight  ,  hereby pledge my loyalty to you . I shall serve you till the end of my life . I shall follow you through your journey . “ said Jeremiah as he bowed himself towards Lelouch

Seeing Jeremiah pledge his Loyalty to Lelouch , both  Sayako and Anya followed the same .

At the moment , Lelouch has gotten himself the stongest ally he could wished for.

His Witch , His Queen ( chapter 10 )

Chapter 10

Lelouch was resting in the room when he hear the ear piercing of the alarming bell from outside . He could see the once dark sky was illuminated with a scarlet glow . He could here the villagres scream

" Fire ! Fire !" They screamed

Lelouch quickly walked out of his room and notice that both Anya and Sayako were on their guard . As soon as that , he could hear the slam of the door and saw Jeremiah walked into the house

" What happened ?" asked Sayako

" A fire probably. Lets hope its not them" said Jeremiah

" Them ? What do you mean ? Is there anyone who might cause this fire?" asked Lelouch which earns him a glare from Jeremiah

" Mind your own business kid" said Jeremiah

" Wha..?" Lelouch was about to retord  but his efford was remain futile as Jeremiah ignore him .

" Sayako go and help the villagers to put out the fire . Anya you go and evacuate the children just in case . I'll handle the rest" said Jeremiah while the other two nod in agreement

" I can help as well" said Lelouch

" no . You stay here" said Jeremiah sternly . The boy hardly can find his way out of the forest ..how can he defend himself if he were in danger ? He'll just be in the way  A nuisance ! A burden ! He's nothing like his late highness

" I'll repeat this again : You'll be remaining here " said Jeremiah as he glared through Lelouch

No matter how he hates being told what to do , somehow Lelouch couldn't fight against Jeremiah . The older guy seems like he can read him through soul .

He watched as Jeremiah and the others make their way out of the house .

When Jeremiah arrive at the location indeed he was a little too late . The villagers were all tied up. The fire was no ordinary fire . It was a fire cause by some rebellious group .

" Dont try doing any funny stuff or I'll kill these villagers" said one the rebellion .

Jeremiah could just take him out with one hit and as for others , both Sayako and Anya are more than capable to eliminate them .

" What are you doing ? I said get yourself here and get tied already !" said the man

Such impatience . Jeremiah hates such impatience people . They always gets on his nerve .

Should I attack him from here ? no . That wouldn't be best . I should at least make myself near - thought Jeremiah

and so Jeremiah walked like he was asked to when he heard another commotion at the other side .

" What's up with that noise Ohgi ?" asked the man as he was approached by another man who Jeremiah assumed his name was Ohgi

" We've captured them . Apparently they were hiding at the west side of the village" said Ohgi

Jeremiah notice among the ones that were capture were Anya , Sayako and the children

" heh ..thought they could hide eh ? well no one can hide from me, The Great Tamaki!" said the man

" Just you wait .. the ..the king will save us and punish you! " said a young girl timidly who earns a glare from Tamaki

" Let me tell you something kid ..the king wont care about you. He has lots of wealth and people , losing one or two wont have an effect on him. Royalties are arrogant after all.  " said Tamaki in disguested

" no.. His highness will definitely come and save us" said the girl much to Tamaki's annoyance

" oh yeah ? well how about I kill you first ? and we'll see whether this King of yours will care to come and save you or not" said Tamaki as he drew out his sword and point out to the girl

" no ..stop ! she's just a kid" yelled one of the midwife

" they said if we were to teach someone .. we might as well teach them while their young . I'll show you how cruel your beloved King can be" said Tamaki

The little girl closed her eyes in fear

Jeremiah was preparing himself to attack the man and so does Anya and Sayako who happened to wait for the right moment to strike and the signal from Jeremiah .

But what Jeremiah least expected was the sound of the sword clash , and the sword that once held by Tamaki flew and drop to the ground a few meters from him .

Surprise were visible in everyone including Jeremiah .

There , stood a young man , Raven hair and pair of purple eyes . Embracing protectively the young girl . Holding the sword of his own .

" The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort or convenience but where he stands at time of challenge on controversy. Lets see how well you perform , Lelouch" said C.C as she observe the scene unfold from the distance

Chapter 9

Lelouch felt an unfamiliar scent as he started to regain his consciousnesses.

He could smell a faint aroma of oranges . As he opened his eyes , he realized he was in a bed in an unfamiliar room .

" where .. where am I? " Lelouch wondered . He remembered that he lost conscious in the middle of the forest .
" That's right ! I have to get back to the camp as soon as possible! " - he thought .

Just then , the door to his room opened an a girl - probabbly around 14 or so entered and look at him . Her hair were pink and her eyes were match with her hair.

" ah..he's awake" said the girl in a monotone voice

Soon , another two figure entered the room . A woman and A man. The woman looked rather like a normal housewife . Short brown hair and pair of eyes to match her hair colour but what attracted Lelouch was the man standing next to her . He was tall with a stern expression with his teal coloured hair . He notice that his left eye was covered by an eyepatch . A scar was evident at that area , and Lelouch assume that his eyes was taken away .

" ah .. it a good thing you've awaken sir" said the brown haired woman . " My daughter found you unconscious in the forest while she was on her errand . We were worried that something bad might have happened to you"  she added

" no .. Im fine . It seems I was too exhausted that I collapse. Thank you for your help " said Lelouch

" We thought you were poisoned by a snake " said the man " what were you doing out in that forest ? people rarely went there . You were lucky that my daughter found you" He added

Lelouch was bewildered . Well first about how off the family seems . How did teal plus brown equal to pink ? but he decided to ignore the matter and attend to a more serious matter , what should he tell the man ?

That he , the king Lelouch , decided to let his royal adviser control his action and causes him to wonder in the forest and lost ? That would cause a huge impact on his reputation as a King .

" I was ..on my way to the nearby village to get some supply for the camp" said Lelouch as he lied

" camp ? I've notice soldiers near at the east of the village . Is that camp you're talking about?" said Jeremiah

" yes, sir . " said Lelouch

" I see . Well , its quite late to send you back to your camp . Perhaps you should stay here for the night and rest" said the man

" That's really very generous of you sir .."

" Jeremiah. Im Jeremiah and this is my wife , Sayako and daughter Anya" Jeremiah expalined

" Its a pleasure to meet you . Im Lelouch " said Lelouch

" such peculiar name . I notice you have the same name as the King" said Jeremiah

Lelouch sweat dropped for a moment . He let his guard down for a second ! He shouldn't be this careless !

" well perhaps it's just a mere coincident or perhaps your parents were a fan of the royalty? " smirked Jeremiah

" a mixture of both " said Lelouch

" I see . I guess we'll be taking our leave then sir Lelouch ." Jeremiah bowed a little with lelouch reply with a nod .

Both Anya and Sayako watch as Jeremiah act differently towards the young man but said nothing about it as they followed the teal man walking out of the room .

As soon as he left the room , Jeremiah walked toward the backyard of the house . He stand there in total darkness before smirking .

" you do know it's useless to hide your presence before me" said Jeremiah

" sharp as ever " said C.C as she descend down from a tree

" Why is it did you brought him here ?" said Jeremiah

" I didn't .It was his fate that leads him here" said C.C

" He is not worthy of a King. He is far from ready . " said Jeremiah

C.C smirked in interest " interesting ... how did you found out it was him ? I think he cover up himself pretty well back there" said C.C

" I've spend most my life serving royalty , I can tell from the way he talks" said Jeremiah " and he has the same eyes as his highness ." said Jeremiah in rather low tone

" as expected from the late king's right hand man" said C.C

" Take that boy back. It is too early for him to meet me" said Jeremiah

" Is that your way of talking to your King?" said C.C

" He is not my king . I am free and I do not pledge my loyalty other than his late highness" said Jeremiah firmly

" and if I refuse ?" said C.C

" then I have no choice then to force you." said Jeremiah as he draw out his sword

" humans are such foolish creature." C.C smug.

" Take your King and leave" said Jeremiah as he dangerously aiming his sword at C.C's neck

" I was leading him toward his fate. If fate say that it is today that he is to be meet with you , then he is worthy of 'that' " said C.C

" I was ordered by his late highness that I only place 'that' to the place it belongs only if i find his successor is worthy of it" said Jeremiah glaring to C.C

" The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience but where he stands at time of challenge on controversy" said C.C

Jeremiah was dumbfounded by her statement but he couldn't press what she meant about it as he heard the ringing of the emergency bell of the village .

" FIRE !! FIRE !! " screamed one of the villagers which caught Jeremiah's attention and by the time he look back to where the witch has stand she has dissappear into the thin air

Chapter 8 

" Jeremiah .." called a rather weak voice . 

The teal haired man look towards his master . The once strong man , who had ruled the land , the one he knew worthy of being his master now lying on the bed on his brink of death . 

"Yes , your majesty" said Jeremiah as he hold hold his master's hand. 

" Im going to set you free " said the King weakly 

" No .. you can't your majesty ! I can't leave you like this !It is against my code and loyalty " said Jeremiah franticly 

" It is due to that loyalty Im setting you free ... " said the King followed by a cough 

" What ...what do you mean your majesty ?" The teal haired man looked puzzled 

" Im letting you go . but at the same time I'm entrusting you with something that you must guard with your whole life" said the King 

" You can't possibly mean ..." Jeremiah eyes widened in realization " no,your majesty . Im not worthy of guarding 'that' "said Jeremiah glancing down at his feet 

" You have too. You're my most loyal knight and my right hand man" said the King 

Jeremiah look up again facing the king . 

" I don't have much time. Once I passed , there will darkness that will chase after 'that' and it will use it to cause great destruction. It is best for you to take it with you now and disappear into the thin air without a word" said the King 

Jeremiah listened to his mater's reason . He was hesitant but he knew it was the best option . If 'that' is not guarded , as his master says , someone will come and missuse it . 

" If that is what you wish for ,your majesty , then I'll do it . I'll guard it with all my life" said Jeremiah 

"  ahh ..Take it ..Guard it ..and when my successor comes to you , and you are sure that he is worthy of 'that' , then place it back to the place it belongs" said the King 

" Yes , your Majesty " said Jeremiah as he bow .

and that was the last mission his master ever gave it to him 

" Dad? " a monotone voice called out to him which causes the teal hair man to snap out of his thought

" yes , Anya ? " asked Jeremiah

" Im going to get some materials . Our weapons are need maintainance" said his pink haired girl daughter with a monotone voice

" yes . you may go" said Jeremiah as he watch his daughter went out of the house

" that witch !" said Lelouch as he curses

Apparently he was dragged by C.C out of the base camp , lying by saying they need to check out the area , making him wear stiffing clothes - because C.C thought that his attire was way too flashy and he could attract bears if he wish . and now he was left alone in the middle of the forest with no sense of direction of where he was suppose to go and where exactly he is at the moment

" I shouldn't have let her control me" Lelouch regretted

He was following her fast pace and in a flash she disappear without a word and that happened to be hours ago.

Lelouch notice that it's getting dark .

" Not good . I have to go back to the camp" said Lelouch anxiously . Really the last thing the kingdom need is a missing king in the middle of a big crisis !

Cyrus can be attacking them any minute and he couldn't afford to be lost ! Lelouch franticly tried to find his way out . After a few more hours , he feel out energy .Funny , he never felt this tired before but right now his body seems to be screaming in pain.  Exhausted , he collapse to the ground .

"  .. you can't even defend yourself under such small spell I cast..." smirk C.C as she watch Lelouch collapse to the ground

" are you sure that was a wise move , my lady ?" said a familiar voice as he approached a certain gray witch who happened to be sitting on top of one of the tree branches .

" said the dragon who had vanish as soon as we knew that cyrus will be attacking" said C.C smugly

" If I didn't , he will definitely use me to his advantage" said Metallica

" Isn't that to be expected ? A mere human couldn't possibly defeat a cyrus but a dragon is a whole different matter" said C.C

" Perhaps he is . but I am merely observing whether is he really the master Im looking for all these years" said Metallica

" though you bond a contract with him" said C.C

" I do ..but that contract is not yet sealed . It just mere fragile bond to tie me to him . If he was truly to be my master , he will be able to seal it" said Metallica

" such dirty tactics you have there " said C.C

" said the person who cast a spell on her accomplice" said Metallica

" Im merely leading him to his fate . If it means that I have to use such low tactics , so be it . Im already a witch . I live up to my reputation" said C.C

" and now , fate has start to unfold" said Metallica as he watch a pink hair girl approached the collapse young king .

" Indeed" smirk C.C

Chapter 7

It took them 3 days to travel from the castle to the cove . It took them another 3 days for them to set everything up according to the plan.

Of course the young King was with them the whole time . He couldn't afford to sit and wait at the castle . As the leader and the King of the country he must join his people at the battle field and he wasn't alone . His royal advisor was with him too.

" Is everything okay ?" asked Lelouch to Suzaku

" yes your majesty. We've prepare a path towards the cove" said Suzaku

" makes sure to keep them light up at all time ." said Lelouch

" understood" said Suzaku as he bowed before making his way towards the soldier

" such loyalty ." commented C.C as she watch Suzaku leading the troupe of soldiers . " Though it is not enough for you to defeat a cyrus" said C.C.

" I know . No matter how many soldiers we have fighting agaist it useless ." said Lelouch

" sad but undeniably it's the truth " said C.C

" Even if we manage to lure it here .. we can't guarantee our victory" said Lelouch

" oya .. the seems like the young king is unsure of his action. That's rare" teased C.C

" this is not the time for joke and game , C.C ." said Lelouch exasperatedly

"  I merely saying the truth" said C.C.

" sometime you're getting on my nerve" said Lelouch

" patience boy. Anger will only show your immaturity" said C.C

Lelouch clicked his tounge . He looks annoyed while C.C smirked in victory before making her way out of their base camp.

" where are you planning to sneak off to?" asked Lelouch

" somewhere that might spark my interest" said C.C

" Do I gave you my permission?" sail Lelouch in annoyed tone

" Do I need one? " said C.C

" Im your King " said Lelouch

" and Im your royal advisor . If you're so curious why don't you come with me ?" said C.C

" C.C ...we're in the middle of a crisis here .. " Lelouch glare

" trust me Lelouch . That cyrus wont appear ..well at least not yet . I would know " said C.C

After a long staring contest with each other , Lelouch finally gave up .

" Fine. I'll come with you . Please don't make this trip of yours long" said Lelouch

" sure . same goes to you " smirked C.C .

That moment , Lelouch didn't know that C.C had just opened up another bright path in his road to become the great king ever known in history .

Chapter 6

After witnessing the destruction that was caused by cyrus , the young King Lelouch was put into a situation he hated most . Although he was consider known for stopping the war between kingdoms , when it comes to a mystical creature , especially Cyrus which was known as the most gentle creature , he was completely dumbfounded.

He had come up with a lot of plan , a lot of strategy for stopping cyrus but all of them will draw him to one big problem .

" Your Majesty ? " Suzaku's voice interrupted his line of thought .

" Ah..Suzaku .. what is it?" asked Lelouch

" The soldier are all well prepared .. we're just waiting for you order" said Suzaku

Lelouch remained silent for a few moments while Suzaku waiting for his reply

" I have one .. but it has one major flaw." said Lelouch

" Let's hear it " said C.C who apparently appear out of no where which surprises the young knight but not Lelouch.


" at east side of our Geass land " said Lelouch

Suzaku immidiately undestand what the young king was talking about. He was talking about the land near the sea which was located quite far from the city .

" If a cyrus wants to attack Geass , considering its a sea creature , it will pass through that path" said Lelouch

" so you want to block the path then ?" said Suzaku

" I doubt we could . Considering the the amount of destruction it caused on the previous city , I doubt a mere army of mortal humans could stop it" said C.C

" That's exactly true. If we did  that , not only we put the soldiers into a useless death , but it also cause Cyrus to directly hits Geass" said Lelouch

" That would be a bad move " said Suzaku

" I was thinking of using the cove" said Lelouch

" The cove?" both Suzaku and C.C look at him confused

Lelouch went to the huge map of the kingdom that was hung at the wall of his work chamber . He walks towards the eastern part of the map and points out a cove that was located along the path .

" I see .. so you were planning to lure it there . Interesting" C.C smirked

" as you can see , this cove is quite large and it can surely trap cyrus there and considering it is located far from the Kingdom , we can minimize the amount of damage towards the citizens" said Lelouch

" In conclusion , we have to defeat cyrus there" said Suzaku

" exactly . Which bring us to our major problem at hand" said Lelouch " How can we make cyrus change it's path to the cove . or to be exact , how could we lure it towards the cove ?"


Both Suzaku and Lelouch was deep in thought for a while .

" Suzaku , get tell the soldier to prepare at the cove . It will take us a while to prepare "

" did you manage to come up with a plan to lure it ?"asked Suzaku

" I'll come up with something. But for now ..go" said Lelouch

" Yes , your majesty" said Suzaku before making his way out of the room

" I assume you have no clue to distract the cyrus" said C.C which earns her a glare from the young king

" shouldn't someone be advising me at the moment ? you are the descendant of the Gray Witch. I've come to known Withes has vast knowledge about mythical creatures ." said Lelouch

" Is that your way of asking help? certainly I find it a little unappealing" said C.C

" Well not bad ..but still sounded stiff" said C.C

" witch " said Lelouch annoyed

" I am one" smirked C.C

C.C watched Lelouch as he deeply thinking . She notice how his eyebrow knitted and how serious he looks. She wanted to laugh . Its too hilarious yet she hold it . Finally deciding that she had enough torturing the young King , she said

" Lelouch , do you know where cyrus was born ?" said C.C

" Well ... not many knows . Considering most mythical creature laid eggs i guessing it must had born from eggs like dragons . Probabbly in some land " said Lelouch

" and that's where you're wrong" said C.C

Lelouch's attention was now fully on the emerald beauty.

" Cyrus rise from the deep sea. They were born there and will return there when the times come for it to die" said C.C

" what are you getting at C.C?" asked Lelouch

" when you never once see it in your life , won't you be fascinated by it ?" said C.C

Lelouch look at her confused

" boy , think about it . The deep sea . no ..not just the deep sea , any sea , is cold , so cold that it could freeze a mere human to death and the depth is a total darkness" said C.C

" You said as if you had once died there" said Lelouch

" Perhaps " said C.C with a smirk

Lelouch thought about her words for a moment . Cold and dark . What would he be looking for under those condition?

Chapter 5

" my wish ... is to die "

Lelouch was dumbfounded . He didn't expect that . Why would she wish such a thing ? He intended to ask her but unfortunately , she never allowed him to . It seems as if she was avoiding the subject . Why would someone wish to end their life when life offers them exiting things ? Why she chose to end it when people are scared of death ? He couldn't understand .

"your highness?" it was the minister's voice that causes him to snapped out from his deep thought . He was in a meeting with the ministers for god sake . He need to concentrate .

" just go on with the reports . " said Lelouch

Throughout the meeting , Lelouch could not concentrate at all . He couldn't stop thinking about her. Much to his chagrin , the person who causes him so much trouble was no where to be found or maybe he just not looking hard enough .

" Where is she ? " said Lelouch more likely to himself .

" looking for someone , your highness ?" asked Suzaku

" You knew exactly who is that person , Suzaku " said Lelouch

" thought so . I was wondering why the palace was quiet lately . Usually you two will cause a ruckus first thing in the morning "

" I can never understand her " sigh Lelouch

Suzaku chuckled . Lately , Lelouch always looking out for C.C . The young king may not admit it , but Suzaku couldn't help but notice that Lelouch starts to care for her ever since the day he shouted at the royal library just to look for her .

" Suzaku , what makes people wish that they're better off dead than being alive?" Lelouch asked

Suzaku looked at Lelouch . Indeed the young king was serious .

" There're many factors Lelouch . I can't exactly tell you which because people are different you know . " said Suzaku

" I see . "

Meanwhile , at the royal Library , C.C was reading the future of the country .

" something...something is coming .." she said

In her vision , destruction occurs . The sea was wavering and the people are running . A monster appear. A Cyrus to exact . She knew the monster very well yet something seems to be not right .

" Quickly call the King to meet me here ! " said C.C to the guards with an alarmed tone

" now she's ordering me around .. I'm the king here " said Lelouch

" at least you don't need to look for her anymore " said Suzaku

Lelouch couldn't agree less . At least he didn't need to waste his energy to go out and find her . Thus , both the young king and his royal knight made their way to the royal library .

" Glad you came " commented C.C

" who do you think you are to order me around ?" said Lelouch

" but you did came . " smirk C.C

One could see there's a lightning spark between the two of them . Indeed , its been quite something since the last time both of them fight like this but now is not the time .

" Ahem . . . Did anything happen ? You did request Lelouch to came over here immediately " ask Suzaku

" Nothing happened yet " said C.C which causes Lelouch to be angry but before he could shout or shutter any word she continue.

" but it will soon . "

" what will happen ?" Lelouch is curious

" apparently a sea monster will attack this country and if you don't make a move now , Geass will soon be in danger "

" a sea monster ? " said Suzaku

" which sea monster ? can you be specific ? " ask Lelouch

" Its the Cyrus " said C.C

Lelouch knitted his brows . " Impossible . Cyrus is the most gentle and shy creature ! "

" That's what bothering me too " said C.C

" Its impossible . " said Lelouch in disbelieve

" So are you defying my vision?" said C.C in rather annoyed tone

"A vision is just a mere prediction . It either be true or the other way around . Besides I can't fully trust you just yet . " said Lelouch

C.C said nothing . She just stare at him with a blank face . Lelouch quickly made his way out of the royal library followed by Suzaku .

" Lelouch , what she said might be true " said Suzaku

" Suzaku , a Cryrus is the most gentle monster out there . I will never kill let alone attack this country . "

" well its true that is the nature of Cyrus but a witch vision can be true "

Lelouch ignore the words that was said by Suzaku . He couldn't accept the fact that a Cyrus will attack his country .

" Ignorance will kill you, young king " said a familiar voice

" I just think what is right and you should know more than anyone that Cyrus will never attack a country , Metallica" said Lelouch

" Cyrus is indeed a gentle creature but when a white cloth is dip into a black ink , it would be black isn't it , young king ? "

" what are you implying ? " ask Lelouch

" You'll see it soon . " said Metallica before disappearing out of thin air.

And that was the last time Lelouch ever see Metallica . It was as if he just vanished but Lelouch knew that Metallica will be back soon . Lelouch is the master no ? Several days had passed since the day C.C told Lelouch her vision and nothing happened . Just when Lelouch wanted to push away the incident , the shocking news came .

" YOUR MAJESTY!! THIS URGENT !! " said one of the minister .

The news that the minister causes Lelouch to n0t to bat an eyelid . Lelouch could not believe it and decided to travel to Duston , a country located north .

" impossible .... " shock can be clearly seen on Lelouch face

" Duston is a beautiful country ..." said Suzaku who act as Lelouch escort

Duston , once known as the most beautiful country , the most lively city now destroyed . Not even a single trace of its golden time was left . Everything is wipe out . Children were crying , houses were now down into pieces . Its hard to believe that Bordon was once a country . All this destruction were cause by Cyrus , the creature Lelouch thought was gentle .

" Do you believe me now ? " ask C.C

" Lets stop the Cyrus before its too late " said Lelouch with a serious face .
