Chapter 1 : The meeting , The contract

The palace was as usual surrounded by guards and well…it wasn't the happiest place that you'd want to be at the moment. Actually right now something was already happening in the throne room and it didn't look like a happy event either.

" are you saying that I'm not worthy of being your king ? " anguish can be heard from his tone. if only looks can kill , it certainly can .

" no , your mejesty. Im not implying that . I'm just saying that as a king , you should choose your queen that can bear an heir as soon as possible . If anything were to happens .."

" so you implying that Im going to die is that it ?"

The prime misnister gulped

" this is the future for this country. as a KIng you must have an heir . It is one of your responsibilities your mejesty "

" I have rule this kindom for 10 years , I've won many wars and created many economics development for this country , even establish diplomatics relationship with other countries , and now you're saying that I'm not doing my job well ? absurb"

" Im not implying that your majesty .This is the future of this country "

" silence ! It is me who willl decide who will become the Queen of this country . when i will decide is none of your concern . leave . "

" but your mejesty .."

" I said leave " said the emperor which a glare .

the prime misnister quickly made his way out .

" you do know what he said is true ..the country needs a queen " said a brown locks man who is standing beside the kind all the time

" Suzaku , you as my first knight know exactly what to do than agreeing with that old giser"

" thats not very nice . He has served the country before you even born, Lelouch. " Suzaku chuckled

" and that makes him old fashion" Emperor Lelouch commented

Truth to be told , Lelouch was the youngest emperror in the history of Geass . He was first rise to throne when he was 10 . Many people doubted his capability , but he prove them wrong . He was able to won the war against the Cabaldcad . Being a genius allows him to open a lot of economics oppoturnity for Geass . Now Geass is one of the powerful country . and its all thanks to him . Of course , being young, he still haven't find or even bother to find a Queen. as if he was not interestd with it,

" sometimes i wonder , what kind of a queen will you choose " Suzaku commented

" whats so special about it anyway ? women are just annoying . all of them want is money . "

" even if you are an emperor , i can't believe you are this naive. Not all women are like that"

" as far as I had encounter , all of them are the same"

"one day lelouch..one day... I'll be looking foward to see who will be the one that manage to melt that cold heart of yours "

Lelouch just push that thought away

" when is the new adviser is coming?" he ask towards Suzaku

" Lelouch .. you just fired one two days ago , an according to your records , the most longest adviser that can stand by your side was only a month "

" people who are not suited for the job might as well quit it"

" at this rate, no one will want to be your adviser even if you offer them a box of pure gold"

" cheh .. "

Lelouch decided to walk away from his throne room .

" I'm going to take some fresh air" he stated before disappearing from Suzaku's sight.

Lelouch made his way to the royal garden . No one was able to read his mind . Not even Suzaku .Lelouch didn't decide on something base on

current situation . No . He take accounts on everything even for the future. That's why all the adviser couldn't understand his decision.

" There is nothing for me to protect except this country. There's nothing for me to hold on to except the responsible as a king. There's nothing for me except life full of solitude. Is this the meaning of being a king ?" he thought to himself

Suddenly he heard a rustle in the bush nearby .

"who's there?"

He was answered with silence. Curiosity took over him and he decided to see whats behind it . As he made his way into the bush , he saw a very strange creature . A creature he never seen before. It looks like a rabbit but it has this pair of small wings behind its back and a long bushy tail . Its fur was indeed eye catching . It was lime green and its eyes was golden.

Lelouch face soften and he smile towards the creature.

" dont worry , little one . I'll help you"

The creature just look at him while Lelouch untie the rope that was tied at its leg .

" there , you can go now."

The creature just stood there and stare at him.

" go on . Its okay . I won't exterminated you or anything"

" you're too kind. In fact the kindest of all king that ever ruled Geass"

a voice could be heard . Lelouch was alarmed. He look around and found not a single person. Could it be ..

" I am talking to you , boy."

It was the creature .

" you can talk ?" Lelouch said in bewilderment

" I am talking to you now am I?"

" what are you ?"

" I am the descendant of the gray witch. I've travel far to look for a suitable accomplice that can help me grant my wish"

" so .. what's a gray witch doing in my royal garden ? fall into the trap made by one of my maiden" said Lelouch teasingly

" I prefer not to talk about it "

" I see. Well then I wish you all the best on your quest finding an accomplice"

" wait ! " the creature called out which makes Lelouch turn around to look at it.

" boy , would you like to be my accomplice?"

" I don't like the fact that only one side gets the benefits"

" oh, you're a smart one."

" I wouldn't be a king if I wasn't"

" You be my accomplice and help me grant my wish and in return I shall grant yours"

" sadly, I don't have any wish to be granted"

" oh, and here i thought that I might be able to help you to make you the greatest king in the history of Geass "

Lelouch look at the creature. Can this creature be trusted? Can this creature makes him the greatest king that ever ruled Geass?

" how exactly can you help me ?" lelouch questioned

" I heard you are looking for an adviser"

" It will be weird to have a .. rabbit with wings and long tail as a adviser ."

" boy , are you that naive?"

Lelouch was taken aback. This was the second time he was called naive and it was the second time ever in his life he was called as 'boy'

" I am the descendants of the gray witch . I practice magic . This is not my real form. I might as well show it to you"

Within seconds, a golden light started to covered the so called rabbit . Not long after , in front of Lelouch , stood a young lady , with long green lime hair and a pair of golden eyes, She was a beautiful maiden. Not like any witch he imagine in fairytail.

" so , will you accept the contract ? King Lelouch ."

Lelouch couldn't help it but to smirk. If what this witch saying is true, he'll be the greatest King ever ruled Geass
