Lelouch Lamperouge is a 26 years old . Handsome and charismatic . Any girls will fall in love with him . Why shouldn't they ? He has all the handsome features , not to mention his family is super rich . His father , Charles is a President of one of the world's largest company , while his mother, Marianne is a well known and world recommended doctor who owns a hospital . He will the main successor of the Lamperouge family . Of course , he's not the only one who's going to inherit all the money , he also had two siblings younger than him . A pair of twins . Rollo and Nunnally . Both of them are a complete opposite each other but they support each other well .
Lelouch didn’t even care about the inheritance thing . If all the money goes to his younger brother or sister , he wouldn't mind . In fact he thinks that its better that way . Lelouch can support his life on his own . He is a doctor himself at his mother's hospital . He didn't get that pose just because of his mother , he also inherit his mother's talent in medical field . As they say like mother like son . ( is it ? )
Lelouch maybe a ladies man , with a gentleman attitude and his face , no girls could resist his charm . Lelouch could just pick any girls he wants but sadly ( or gladly ? ) he's not the kind of person who would just hit on any girls . No . Infact he never shown any interest on them . Now this makes his mother worried . Whose's mother isn’t worried if their son , who is already 26 but never even dated any girls in his life ( not to mention having his first kiss ) .
" Lelouch , when are you going to bring a nice girl home ? " ask Marianne one day during breakfast .
" mom ... not this again " Lelouch grunted
" oni-sama ... you are already 26 . Its natural for mom to ask you that " said his 16 years old brother , Rollo .
" oni-sama you are not getting younger you know . " commented Nunnally
" true Lelouch . No ones wants to get married with an old man . " commented Suzaku .
Suzaku is Lelouch's best friend and is a pilot . They've known each other since young . Well you might be wondering why Suzaku is in the Lamperouge house hold during breakfast .Well Suzaku is married to Lelouch's cousin , Euphemia . ( Euphy for short .) amd they are expecting a baby soon .
" ... " Lelouch stay silent .
" I'm not forcing you Lelouch but you should think about your own happiness . Dont just think about work . " said Marianne
" I just haven't find the right one yet ." said Lelouch
" out of billions fans out there , not even one ? " Suzaku said in amusement
" well .."
"you must be joking oni-sama ." Rollo look at him with disbelieve .
" got to go . I have an appointment with a patient . Thanks for the meal " and Lelouch run away .
" great way to escape " Suzaku comented .
" as usual " Rollo could agree no less about his brother .
Truth to be told . Lelouch actually already found the right one but the problem is ... he didnt know how to explain it . This certain girl is different from the others . Not just any normal girls . To Lelouch , she was the most beautiful person ever lived . The first he meet her was at the park . It was snowing that time and he just having a walk to calm his mind after a long busy day . At that time he saw her sitting at the bench . Her exotic long green lime hair and her golden eyes was truly mesmerizing . He couldn't take his eyes of her . The girl notice him and gave him a smile which causes a light pink shade across his face . Yes .. Lelouch fall in love with her at first sight .
“ your condition seems to be improving . If this keeps up then you’ll be out from this hospital in no time “ said Lelouch towards his patient .
As a doctor , Lelouch always knows how to be calm . This help to give encouragement to the patient .Every single day is the same . Checking the patient , appointment , meeting , and operation . The routine rotates but lately he found something new . Something that he always been looking forward to .
He look at his watch , its already 9.23 pm . He should be going . As he walk out of the hospital , he took a different route than he used to walk home last month. The same route that he had been walking for the past few weeks . All this is just one reason . To see her at that park .
She was sitting on the very same bench where he first meet her . No matter how many times , Lelouch still couldn’t help himself from staring at her and every time he did that , she will giggle at him .
“ you’ve come again ..” she look at him .
“ well .. I was just passing by ..so I thought I may as well see you ” said Lelouch looking away .
“ well ..its not logical to assume you just passing by when you actually come here every night” she give him a sly smile .
“ well …there’s no rule that forbid me to do so”
“ you are funny” she let out a small chuckle
“ I’ll take that as compliment” and Lelouch sit besides her at the bench .
His heart beating like crazy . He was nervous but of course , as a man , he didn’t show his nervousness infront of her . He try to find something to strike up a conversation with her . His effort didn’t end up fertile .
“ you like to draw don’t you ?” Lelouch ask her as he notice a sketch book on her lap .
“ It’s the only thing I really fond of doing” she replied .
“ may I have a look at it ?”
“ sure ..but Im not sure if its good enough”
Lelouch open the sketch book and he thought that her drawing was magnificent . Her drawings is full of details that one could tell that she is a professional in that field .
“ This is really good . Its full with detail . Are an artist in any way ?” he ask
“ no . Im just doing this for fun .”
“ Oh , I see but its really great .” he said as he handed her book .
“ Thank you . I need to go now . Thank you . See you again.”
Before she was able to take another step , he grab her hand which causes her to look at him with a questioned look .
“ sorry .. I was just wondering.. Can I know what is your name ?its okay if you don’t want to tell me ” he look rather shy . She gave him a smile .
“ I’ll tell you my name if you tell me yours .”
“ Lelouch . Lelouch Lamperouge” Lelouch shuttered
“ C.C”
Lelouch was lying on the bed . His mind wondered towards a certain girl with a pair of golden eyes and long green lime hair .
“ C.C …”
He may look like a high school girl who was deeply in love but he don’t care . The fact that he is in love with her that even he himself couldn’t deny it . He couldn’t stop thinking about her . He wanted to ask her out .. but how ? He try to come out with some idea but it was useless . Funny thing was .. he was a genius .. a chess titan , a prodigy yet what he had achieved in the past couldn’t help him to come up with some strategies or plan to ask her out .
“ what happen to me ?!” said Lelouch in exasperation .
Lelouch buried his face in the pillow . Indeed he was desperate . It’s hard when being in love especially if this is your first time .
“ Lelouch ?”
He was too deep in thought that he didn’t even notice that his mother had just entered the room .
“ are you okay dear ? is something the matter ?” asked Marianne
“ I .. I don’t know mom.”
Marianne was worried . She never seen her son reacted this way . Marianne caresses her son’s raven hair .
“ you know you can tell me everything . I’ll be happy to help .”
“ …”
“ well I’ll be off to prepare dinner . Make sure you come down on time” said Marianne
Just about she almost reach the door knob ,
“ mom .. can I ask you something ?”
Lelouch look at her with a very serious eyes .
“ sure thing . What is it ?”
“ How do you ask someone out ?”
If it was any other day , she would tease Lelouch till the end but something about him today that told her that he was desperate for answer . Marianne couldn’t help it but smile .
“ you know Lelouch .. its doesn’t matter on how you ask her out . What’s really important that you should master all your courage and ask her .”
“ courage ..” Lelouch said to himself .
“ yes. You have to be brave . Brave to take the risk” Marianne added
“ thanks mom .’”
“ no problem . Just make sure you bring her home and introduce her to me . I eager to know who is the girl who has capture the heart of my cold son” said Marianne
Lelouch couldn’t help but smile sheepishly.

The next day , Lelouch went to work like he usually did but some how , the time passes too slow on that day . How he wish he could just fast forward the time and meet her . He missed her already . Lelouch look at his watch. It was just about time for his lunch break . Maybe he should eat outside. Lelouch often eats at the cafeteria but he feels like eating something else . Food that was cook other than the cafeteria staff . Oh well , he might as well go to the mini Italian restaurant not far from the hospital .
As Lelouch reach the restaurant , he was speechless . He couldn’t move due to the shock . He couldn’t believe his eyes . Right in front of the of him was the person he longed to meet .
“ Lelouch ..” said C.C
“ C.C ..” Lelouch was still speechless
“ I didn’t expect to see you here” said C.C
“ me neither . Hey , erm .. if you don’t mind .. do want to have lunch together with me ?”
Lelouch could feel his face burning . He was nervous yet at the same time he hoped that she’ll accept his invitation.
“ sure. Sounds great.” C.C replied
The restaurant wasn’t that big and not that luxurious but Lelouch like it that way . Not too crowded , just simple .
They both decided to share a pizza .
“ So are you working around here ?” Lelouch asked .
“ well I work at the nearby florist shop .”
Suddenly the thought of his cousin Euphy came across to his mind . His cousin also open a florist shop nearby .
“ Do you any chance knew Euphy ?”
“ You mean Euphemia-san? Yes , I do know her. She’s my co-worker. Why do you ask?”
“ well actually she is my cousin and my best friend’s wife”
Lelouch couldn’t be more happier . C.C was working at a place where he can visit her freely ! He was sure that Euphy wont mind at all . Maybe he should out for lunch every day . ( Lelouch .. you sounded so desperate)
“ I see .”
At that time their food came and they started eating . After that , Lelouch being a gentleman that he was paid the bills even though C.C protest .
“ you know you don’t have to pay for me” C.C pouted
“ Don’t worry . It was my own free will . No political issues” Lelouch smile
“ you are not even in politics” C.C commented while looking away
For a moment , Lelouch swear that he could see a light pink shade across C.C’s face but put the thought away . Lelouch decided to walk C.C back to the florist shop. Both of them didn’t talk along the way but it wasn’t an awkward silent instead it was a very comfortable one and the enjoy it .
At that moment Lelouch came up out a plan . A brilliant plan . He was too deep in thought that he didn’t realize that they already reach the shop .
“ we’re here” C.C’s voice seems to bring back Lelouch to earth
“ oh .. yeah ..”
“ Thank you for today” C.C smile .
He need to take the risk . Its now or never .
“ C.C ?” Lelouch called her
“ what is it Lelouch ?”
“ can we have lunch together again ? Since this place isn’t that far from my workplace , I can come pick you up”
Lelouch heart beats like crazy . ( aww … )
“ I like that . How’s tomorrow sound to you ?” C.C look at him
“ sure !” Lelouch couldn’t surpress his happiness
C.C couldn’t help but let out a little giggle .
“ why don’t you make him some bento C.C-san ?”
A voice which startled both Lelouch and C.C . A pink hair lady and brown locks man was standing inside the shop . It was Euphy and Suzaku . Both of them were grinning towards Lelouch.
“ Euphy , Suzaku !” Lelouch exclaimed in rather surprised tone .
“ so how about it C.C ? I’m sure Lelouch is happy to taste your home made cooking.” Said Euphy trying to persuading C.C and at the same time teasing Lelouch
“ well ..” C.C sounded unsure .
“ I’m sure Lelouch wouldn’t mind” said Suzaku
C.C look at Lelouch as if trying to ask him if it was okay.
“ I…I’d love too” said Lelouch blushing .
Lelouch couldn’t believe what just happened to him today . He meet her during lunch and besides getting a chance to be able to spend time with her again , he got something more special . He will get to taste C.C’s home made cooking .He was indeed the most happiest man ever lived .
“ ne rollo , oni-san seems really in a good mood today” Nunally comented
“ oni-san .. did anything happen today ?” Rollo was curious
“ its nothing Rollo. Don’t worry” Lelouch gave them a big smile which cause them to shiver .
During breakfast , Lelouch was too happy that it gave even his mother cold shudder .
“ Lelouch .. are you all right?” Marianne asked
“ it’s nothing mom” Lelouch said it with smile .
“ man someone is already too happy” Suzaku commented
“ and just for a home made bento .. I think you are madly in love Lelouch” said Euphy teasingly which cause Lelouch to blush in embarrassment .
“ is this the girl , Lelouch? The one that you are dying to ask her out? You did it after all !” Marianne squeal in delight.
“ congratulations , oni-san” said Nunnally
“ finally ..and here I thought you were gay” said Rollo
“ hey !” Lelouch shouted
“ so ..when are you going to introduce her to us ? I cant hardly wait to meet her ! My future daughter in law !”
“ mom…” Lelouch sigh
So his family keep on teasing him about it . Not that he hate it … It was just embarrassing. Lelouch quickly finish his breakfast and run away to work .. ( the usual)
C.C was arranging some flowers at the shop when she suddenly feels a sharp pain over her stomach . And she feels dizzy as well .
“ are you all right C.C ? you don’t look so good” said Euphy in concern
“ Its okay Euphy , maybe it was something I eat” said C.C
“ are you sure ?”
“ I’ll be fine. Don’t worry.”
“don’t push yourself too hard okay ?or else someone might be unhappy” said Euphy
“ someone ?” said C.C while giving her a questioned look .
Euphy just smile at her and walk away .
Meanwhile Lelouch was at the hospital doing the things that he usually do . ( nothing new ) but he was in extremely happy mood. Which even cause the hospital staff to wonder as well ..
Finally , Lelouch long wait has finally paid off . ( not really that long .. you are just being over dramatic Lelouch) It now time for lunch . He happily walk his way to the shop . He was too happy that he didn’t realize that someone was trailing him from behind . A very familiar character yet makes it very suspicious . (can you guess who it was ? )
Lelouch finally arrived at the shop . Of all of a sudden he felt nervous . Lelouch starts to think .
How am I suppose to greet her ?

Wait … that sounds soo .. weird
Erm .. hello ?

Come on Lelouch think ..
Lelouch was too busy arguing with his inner self , he didn’t realize that C.C was already in front of him .
“ are you practicing for a drama ?” said C.C
Lelouch was surprised . He was lost for words .. He didn’t know what to say . All his thought just vanish into thin air .
“ C.C”
Funny . No matter how hard he try , the only word that he could say right now was her name . A smile creeps on C.C’s face.
“ tell me .. what are you doing just now”
“thinking ..” Lelouch reply
“ really ?” eyeing Lelouch suspiciously
“ yes . Really” Lelouch smile back
With that Lelouch followed her inside the shop . He noticed that his cousin , Euphy wasn’t around .
“ C.C...where’s Euphy?” he ask curiously
“ oh .. Suzaku had just took her out for lunch”
That means I’m alone with C.C! That’s great ! wait that wasn’t good of me … am I having dirty thoughts? Oh no!
Again , Lelouch was too busy arguing with himself that he didn’t notice that C.C already finished taking out the bentos .
“ Lelouch?” C.C called him
“ uh…oh ..yes?” Lelouch shuttered
“seriously .. you look like you were practicing for a drama”
“ I had hidden talent you know” Lelouch trying to cover up
“ The food is ready . Im not sure if it will taste good though”
Lelouch take a look at the food . It looks great ! ( actually it was normal.) He took the chopsticks and started to taste the food . He was floating in the air . It was delicious!
“ this is really good!” Lelouch exclaimed happily
“ I’m glad that you like it”
Lelouch started to day dream again .. He imagine C.C would wear an apron and will cook bento for him every day and then he can eat them at his workplace .. that would be heaven ..( Oh Lelouch ..you are madly in love)
“ Lelouch ..why aren’t you eating?” C.C look at him
“ oh, sorry . I was too happy” said Lelouch before eating the rest of the bento happily .
Lelouch eats it with a really fast speed . How he did it ? He didn’t even know himself . he doesn’t care . He was too happy .
“ I’m full . Thanks for the food !” Lelouch exclaimed happily
There were a little bit of rice on the side of Lelouch mouth and he didn’t notice it . C.C couldn’t help from suppressing a chuckle .
“ why are you laughing?” Lelouch pouted
“ Hold still ..”
Lelouch did what she ask him to do . His heart started to beat faster when C.C came nearer to him . If the heart beat reader machine was used on him , he beat that the thing will explode due to his heartbeat. At that moment , C.C use her thumb to wipe off the dirt off his mouth .
“ there ..all clean now .” C.C smiled
“ th…Thank you” said Lelouch .
If there was a tomato , it was obvious that his face colour right now is the same as that fruit . He couldn’t hide his feelings . It was very clear and direct that he really likes her .. okay maybe love is more accurate .
Since that day , Lelouch would always come to visit C.C at the florist shop . If he didn’t come during lunch , he’ll meet her at the park . This has been going on for a few months . It was obvious to everyone except for C.C that Lelouch develop a deep crush on her.
During this period of time Lelouch was happy . Very happy . Little did he know that something is ought to happen to C.C . On a very certain day , C.C was arranging the stock when suddenly she felt a very sharp pain on her stomach and the slight of dizziness. This cause her to fell on her knees .This has happened quite often lately but C.C thinks that it was nothing serious .
" C.C are you okay ?"
Lelouch, who has just arrived at the shop quickly run towards C.C's side . He was concerned and worried .
" Come let's get you check immediately" said Lelouch in alarmed tone . He was a doctor after all , it was his duty . Plus he loves C.C more than anything . That's quite a big reason for him to be alarmed .
" Lelouch , I'll be fine . Don't worry. It maybe because of something I ate" said C.C trying to calm Lelouch .
"but .. you look paled" said Lelouch .
"it's okay. I'll be fine. Even Euphy don't react like you ."
" I was just worried . Are you sure you'll be fine?"
Lelouch look at C.C . He was still worried about her .
" I'll be fine . Let's go and have some lunch shall we ?"
Lelouch just nodded . Deep inside he was still worried . Even though C.C told him that she will be fine , but something tells him that it she
wouldn't. You can say it as a doctor institution . Even while eating , he was still thinking about it , and C.C notice this.
" Lelouch ?" C.C called him
"huh? .. oh .. This food is great!" said Lelouch
" you are not eating your food Lelouch" C.C pointed out
" ...."
" Lelouch .. I'll be fine. Don't worry too much"
" I don't know C.C .. something tells me that you better have a medical check up for that"
" Lelouch .. this is the fifth time and you know that even I have a patience limit..seriously ..why do you worried about me so much? Am I really that important to you?"
" I'm worried about you because you are important to me! You are important to me and I'm not going to have the risk of losing you! "
C.C's eyes widened in surprised . she didn't know how to react . Lelouch realized what he just said and started to blush . He didn't know how to react either . What he just said was something near to a confession . He didn't know what to do. Should he apologize? should he just take back his words ? should he just keep quite ? he didn't know.
C.C notice Lelouch state of confusion couldn't help but smile . She took his hand and hold it firmly.
"Thank you, Lelouch . I'll be fine . I promise you." she look at up at him .
At that moment , Lelouch confusion just fade away . Just by her holding his hand firmly . How many more magic can she do ? Their faces were just inches apart . Their eyes were staring at each other. Lelouch decided to lean in when suddenly ..
" YO !!! WE"E BACK!!!! "
exclaimed both Euphy and Suzaku which causes both Lelouch and C.C to jump in surprise . Facing away from each other with a little hint of pink shade on both of their faces .
" Did we just interrupt something ?" Euphy said with a sly smile .
" No .. it was nothing actually . We were just about to eat our lunch. Right C.C?" said Lelouch trying to cover up
" huh ? yeah .. the food is getting cold . Let's eat" said C.C
Both Euphy and Suzaku couldn't help from forming a grin on their faces .
" ne, have you guys heard of the summer festival ?" said Euphy
" oh you mean the one the organized at the river every year? What about it?" said C.C
“ you don’t know?! Its tomorrow !” Euphy exclaimed
" Why don't all four of us go together? It'll be fun" said Suzaku
" are you sure it'll be okay ? I hate to be the third person between the both of you" said Lelouch
Suzaku pull Lelouch near him and whispered
" nobody said that you'll be following me and Euphy around."
" then what do you mean by together then ?" Lelouch ask
" OMG .. Lelouch .. I can't believe that you are too dense about this! It's a double date !!! Me and Euphy .. You and C.C! get it ?!"
"date..."
It takes some time for Lelouch to registered that word into his head . Once he did , a little pink shade is formed across his face . ( seriously Lelouch .. you couldn't hide it do you?)
" I wonder what they are whispering about." C.C said curiously
" let them be . We got some girls things to settle C.C!"
"?"
Finally the festival day arrived ( not really that long ) . Lelouch leave from work quite early that day which causes a huge curiosity among the hospital staff because Lelouch never leaves early but Lelouch didn’t care much . He quickly made his way to the shop . When he reach there he saw Suzaku already waiting .
“ you’re early” Suzaku teased him .
“ nothing bad about it.” Lelouch grunted
“ haha.. Euphy is preparing a surprise for you. Im sure you’ll like it”
“surprise ?”
Lelouch waited for quite a long time . Oh, women. Always take a long time to dress up . He never understand why.
“ allright ! Its all done!” Euphy exclaimed .
Finally .. Lelouch thought . He turned around to have a look at C.C and he was speechless . C.C was wearing a black kimono with pink sakura petals design. Her long green lime hair was let free the way it usually did and Lelouch prefer it that way . She look beautiful ..no ..breath taking
“ are you sure I can wear this , Euphy?” said C.C
“ yeah , sure . Don’t worry . Besides I can’t wear it since I’m having this little guy here” said Euphy while pointing out the fact that she is pregnant.
“ thank you.”
C.C walk towards Lelouch . Lelouch could feel his face burning .
“Lelouch , what’s wrong? Are you all right ? your face are all red” C.C ask .
“ no..its nothing” said Lelouch and he could see that both Euphy and Suzaku were both grinning at him
“ If you say so.”
“C.C ..” Lelouch called out
“ ?” C.C looked at him
“ you look beautiful in that.” Lelouch commented
“ thank you” C.C smiled sheepishly
“allright people ! Lets go to the festival!” Euphy exclaimed.
The four of them went to the festival . The festival was full with lanterns . It was really very merry full.
“ well lets go on our different ways now.” said Suzaku
“ have fun you guys !!” said Euphy before walking off with Suzaku .
“ well .. what are we going to do?” Lelouch asked C.C
“ isn’t it obvious? We’re going to have that fried octopus first!” C.C said happily.
And so both of them decided to have fun at the festival . They bought food and share them . Bought some mask , played some firecrackers ..all the things that people usually do during the festival.
C.C was concentrating . It was her last chance and ..poof ! the dart misses it target.
“sorry miss . I guess your luck isn’t with you today” said the stall keeper
C.C was disappointed .
“ what are you trying to do?” Lelouch asked.
“ well I want to win of course” said C.C
“ what kind of present do they offer that makes you desperately wants to win?”
C.C didn’t say anything . Her eyes just look towards a certain keychain. The keychain wasn’t anything special . It was just the pizza hut
mascot , cheese-kun but ..C.C looks like she really wants it .
“ it’s nothing” said C.C while walking away.
Lelouch decide that he better give it a try for the game. All he need to do was making sure that the darts hits the balloons. This should be easy . with one shot , Lelouch pops a blue coloured balloon.
“congratulations sir! You have won the first prize!” exclaimed the stall keeper .
“ oh..but can I have that keychain over there?” said Lelouch while pointing his hand out towards the keychain
“are you sure?” ask the stall keeper .
C.C was sitting on one of the bench. She was still depressed about not getting the keychain .
“hey ..” Lelouch called her
“ Lelouch .. where have you been?” C.C asked
“ I was playing a game just now and I’ve won” said Lelouch
“ oh..good for you then”
“ but I think I want to give this for you. Hold out your hand” Lelouch instructed
C.C did what he told her to do. Lelouch handed her the keychain and her eyes widened in surprised.
“ are you sure Lelouch?”
“ yes. You like it right?”
“ Thank you. I’ll treasure this !” C.C said happily.
Lelouch just gave her a smile. He really love seeing her happy like this . Lelouch was in his own world when suddenly , C.C starts to cough . At first he though that it was just a normal cough but when the cough wouldn’t stop, he knew something was not right.
“ C.C ?” Lelouch look at her.
C.C tried to answer him but couldn’t. she felt dizzy and her stomach pain was killing her . Out of a sudden , she starts to cough blood.
“ Let’s get you to the hospital!” Lelouch was alarmed
C.C tried to stand up but failed as she suddenly black out .
“ C.C!”
Lelouch slammed the result of C.C’s health report on the table. He couldn’t believe this. How can this happen?
Suzaku entered the room . He could see that Lelouch was frustrated .
“ Lelouch?” Suzaku called him
“ Suzaku ..” Lelouch looks sad .
“ what is it Lelouch? It’s isn’t anything serious right?”
Lelouch bit his lips . He couldn’t bring himself to say it but he had to .
“ can..cer”
“ what?”
“ She had liver cancer” Lelouch explained
